Description
This variant represents the shortest route to Colle Don Bosco but might be less scenic. Departing from Piazza Dante (G) towards Colle Don Bosco, continue straight along Via San Giovanni, passing the Cantina Sociale Terre dei Santi on the right and the Carabinieri station on the left. A protected pedestrian path leads to a large roundabout. Here, just before the schools, cross the road, changing direction with a sharp left turn, and take a short stretch of asphalt shared with Trail No. 101, being cautious due to heavy traffic. Then, about 1 km from the starting point, turn right onto a track. Immediately after, at the first fork, leave Trail No. 101 and turn left onto a path initially in poor condition and then in better condition, leading through beautiful vineyards near Cascine Genevratto, Becci, and Gavotto, eventually emerging (after about 1.8 km) onto the so-called Strada del Papa, improved in 1988 for the visit of Pope John Paul II. Turn right here and continue straight on the asphalt road for 2.6 km to Morialdo (Church of San Pietro with Spirituality Oasis, House of San Domenico Savio), finally reaching Colle Don Bosco (H) after another 1.5 km.
