Starting and ending point: Chieri Cemetery parking, adjacent to Via Pirandello (283 meters above sea level).
Length: Approximately 15 km Elevation: +4 meters Difficulty: Easy hiking route, mostly flat
Water: In Chieri, there are 2 fountains on Via Buttigliera between the cemetery and schools. Fountain in S. Giovanni di Riva (S. Domenico house). Water point SMAT in Riva at Piazza C. Emanuele 3 and a fountain in front of the Mulino della Torre.

Starting from the cemetery parking, follow Via Pirandello beyond the Dog Center, then turn left onto the dirt road leading to Via Buttigliera. Turn right and continue to the roundabout, reached after 1.8 km from the start. Cross and continue on the asphalt road to the left of Cascina Robbio (passing by animal enclosures), crossing Rio di Cesole and Rio Moano, following the asphalt to the right (ignoring the deviation towards C.na Riviera) next to large enclosures, then turning right again after 400 m, continuing straight until reaching SP121 Riva presso Chieri-Arignano in the S. Giovanni hamlet , about 4.2 km from C.na Robbio. After crossing the provincial road and then the hamlet along Via D. Bosco, walk for almost 1 km arriving at the birthplace of S. Domenico Savio and the Center of Spirituality. From here, walk Via della Grena, cross the provincial road again, then follow Via dei Finelli and then strada Rivassola to the homonymous farm. About 300 meters after the farm, turn left for another 700 meters in the countryside until the junction leading to C.na Belvedere and the provincial road.

Ignore this deviation (*) and continue straight for about 750 m on the path between the fields. Then turn left near a building, shortly regaining the provincial road (150 m). Turn right on the sidewalk, cross the strada Padana inferiore at the roundabout, entering Riva.

The path between the fields starting from Cascina Rivassola is part of a project by the Municipality of Riva presso Chieri to create a botanical trail along the ancient course of Rio Mulino del Castello, an artificial and partly elevated watercourse that carried water from the stream draining Lake Arignano to Palazzo Grosso. This water was used to water the garden and power the mill blades.

Follow Via V. Veneto, then turn right onto Via T. Rossi di Montelera, passing under the Astense Tower (12th century, so-called because it faces Asti). Continue left in front of the Brotherhood Church of the Holy Cross (18th century), then right onto Via della Confraternita to Piazza dei Caduti and then Piazza della Parrocchia, where Palazzo Grosso is located, housing the historic Municipio and the Museum of Soundscapes.

Next, follow the bike path to the left of the palace. It leads with an asphalt route of 3 km first to Mulino della Torre (an ancient mill dating back to the 1400s) and then to Chieri. At the end of the path, turn left following the pink-colored cycle path (next to the COOP), continue straight at the roundabout (Via Polesina), cross the Via A. Moro roundabout, and then follow the gray-colored cycle path of Corso Matteotti to the traffic light. Turn right to return to the cemetery, which will be reached after about 1.3 km from the end of the Riva-Chieri track.

(*) In case the trail is impassable, turn towards C.na Belvedere and then turn right onto SP121 to Riva, paying attention to heavy traffic.
